2-13-2018 --- Daniel Day-Lewis as an eminent 1950's British couturier falls in love with a young waitress --- no more plot comments here... you must see this film!. This is writer/director Paul Thomas Anderson’s eighth movie, and his second collaboration with Daniel Day-Lewis. Elegantly produced, written and directed, but the defining touch of this film is Day-Lewis' performance. He dominates the entire film. When he is in frame you're fixed at his presence. Having seen him previously as Lincoln, etc I marvel at his 100% transformation in appearance, speech, manner, etc as he moves from one character to another. It would be no surprise to see him awarded Best Actor at upcoming Oscars. It is not him alone... as the story is captivating. Don't miss this one. Truly a superb film.
